CCLS and Linklaters Roundtable: In search of a legal framework for trade and investment after BREXIT

23 November 2016

Time: 2:00 - 7:00pm
Venue: Room 3.1, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, 67-69 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3JB

The full extent of the knock on effects of British citizens’ decision to leave the European Union are yet to be determined. The aim of this roundtable is to discuss the legal implications of BREXIT for UK trade and investment with the EU and the rest of the world and to explore alternative models for trade and investment governance in a post BREXIT environment. There will be two panels of experts. One panel will focus on UK and EU trade and investment relations and the other one will consider trade and investment relations between the UK and non-EU trade partners, including the UK WTO status post BREXIT. Each panel session will be followed by a question and answers session.
