The Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute presents a guest lecture by Graham Vinter, BG Group plc entitled 'An Introduction to LNG'.

Mr Vinter's talk will give an introduction to the global liquefied natural gas industry and some of the legal issues that arise.

Graham Vinter joined BG Group plc as General Counsel in November 2007 and he was elected Chair of GC100 – the association for general counsel and company secretaries of FTSE100 companies – in January 2014. Graham is a member of BG’s Group Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Executive, and is responsible for all of the legal affairs of the group. Prior to joining BG, Graham spent 27 years with a leading international law firm where he was a partner for just under 20 years and global head of the firm’s project finance practice from 1996 to 2007. In his private practice career, he advised on numerous infrastructure and energy projects worldwide. Educated at the universities of Oxford and Munich, he is the founding author and now co‐author of 'Project Finance' published by Sweet & Maxwell.
