The Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute are happy to announce that the first lecture of 2017's Friday Lecture Series will be given by Rupert Steele, Director of Regulation, ScottishPower.

Rupert Steele is Director of Regulation at ScottishPower. He is responsible for Public and Regulatory policy across all aspects of Iberdrola’s interests in the UK. This includes working with Government and regulatory stakeholders to help find solutions which meet both the needs of the company and the public interest.

He reports directly to Iberdrola’s Global Regulation Director with links to ScottishPower’s Chief Corporate Officer. He is a member of the ScottishPower Co-ordination Committee which brings together the top level managers in the UK business. He was appointed OBE in 1992.
