The George Hinde Mooting Competition is Queen Mary's internal undergraduate moot competition. The moot competition has been established for more than 40 years and is a highlight of undergraduate life in the School of Law.
This year's final will be judged by Lord Leonard Hoffmann, retired Senior Judge of the Appellate Committee of the House of Lords. The moot is set in the Supreme Court and concerns the right to privacy, policing and student demonstrations.
Refreshments will be available from 6.30pm and a drinks reception will follow the event. All attendees are welcome to join School of Law academics and students to further discuss the moot problem.
