qLegal workshop: UK and US Immigration Options for Businesses and Entrepreneurs

This event is organised by qLegal, part of the award-winning Legal Advice Centre at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). qLegal provides free legal  advice and resources for technology start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Are you looking at gaining employer sponsor or a self-sponsored immigration status? Do you have questions regarding setting up a business in the UK or the US? Join us for a presentation by Lewis Silkin's special immigration team, aimed at QMUL students and entrepreneurs.

Diana Okoeva and Natasha Hoston from Lewis Silkin LLP will be leading this workshop.

Diana is Senior Associate at LS and specializes in US immigration and nationality law. Diana’s focus is on business immigration, high-net-worth immigration, acquisition and loss of US citizenship and consular practice. Diana is a frequent speaker on US immigration law, speaking to audiences of peers, clients, and other professionals, both in the UK and internationally.

Natasha is an associate at LS and joined the firm after 8 years of experience in advising on business immigration matters at Fragomen and Clyde & Co. Natasha practices UK immigration and nationality law, focussing on all aspects of the Points-Based System with expertise on Tier 2 and sponsorship compliance for SMEs and start-up companies. Natasha regularly consults with Home Office policy makers and business organisations in relation to upcoming immigration changes and presents at external seminars attended by clients, peers and industry professionals.
