The School of Law at Queen Mary University of London invites postgraduate law students and academics to the Sixth Annual Postgraduate Legal Research Conference. The conference is organised by School of Law PhD students and chaired by academic specialists. This event provides a unique opportunity for presenters and participants from across the UK and international research community to exchange ideas on contemporary legal issues.

Poster Session

Poster Presentations will be displayed during lunchtime.

‘Soap Box Session’

Stand up for five minutes and air your risky or controversial legal view. The soapbox session is in its fourth year at the QMUL Postgraduate Law Conference and is a dynamic forum for short presentations on risky ideas or controversial legal views.  

Publication and awards

  • Selected papers of the highest quality will be published in a special 2015 volume of the Queen Mary Law Journal (QMLJ).
  • During the conference we will present prizes for Best Posters and Best Soap Box Presentation.
