The Duty to Give and the Right to Receive - Jewish Law and Poverty Alleviation

22 May 2014

Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Too often religion and human rights are seen as opposing forces benefiting neither. One area of synchronicity is the protection of socio-economic rights. The Human Rights Collegium at Queen Mary University of London, together with the Clemens Nathan Research Centre, will be hosting the symposium 'The Duty to Give and the Right to Receive - Jewish Law and Poverty Alleviation' on 22 May 2014.
