Third Annual Bank of England Conference on International Financial and Monetary Law

15 May 2015

Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm

The Bank of England Legal Directorate, in association with Professor Rosa Lastra of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, is hosting a one-day conference on Financial and Monetary Law  at the Bank of England Conference Centre, London, on Friday 15 May 2015.

This conference is to convene an elite group of general counsel and other senior lawyers from central banks, regulators and international organisations (IMF, BIS), senior academics from the US, Europe and UK, and leading practitioners, together with economists and policy experts.

The conference will be held under the Chatham House Rule. A write-up of the conference will be published in the Bank of England Quarterly Bulletin later in 2015, but in accordance with the Chatham House Rule, the identity and affiliation of speakers will not be disclosed.

The conference builds on the previous conferences on Financial and Monetary Law in 2013 and 2014 that successfully brought together lawyers, policymakers, academics and practitioners from diverse and international backgrounds.
