19 January 2011

Time: 9:00am
Venue: Pinter Drama Studio, Mile End Campus

The event is intended to be inter-disciplinary in nature (with musicians, sociologists, some representatives of the music industry and representative bodies - as well as legal academics) and quite informal (lunch, brief presentations, discussions and a short musical performance and reception). The idea is to focus discussion on the question whether the structures of copyright law and practice provide an effective means of regulating the particularly collaborative and reiterative culture and practice of this form of music.
