Top Score in National Student Survey 2008 for Student Satisfaction

Published:

The School of Law's long tradition of a supportive and nurturing teaching environment is reflected in the excellent results in the most recent National Student Survey (NSS) 2008 survey, whereby the School scored 96% for undergraduate student satisfaction, outperforming top ranking Universities within the Russell Group of British Universities and the 1994 group of British Universities.

Professor Peter Alldridge, Head of the Department of Law commented: "We are very pleased that we appear above all other Russell and 94 Group Universities. We regard this as clear recognition of the excellent teaching and student support that QM provides."

Unlike many Universities, the School offers weekly tutorials, which make it easier for students to meet staff. In addition to their academic advisers, students can also get help and advice from the Graduate Student Advisors, current Queen Mary School of Law Postgraduate students who offer support and advice either on a one to one basis or in groups.
