Modern Law Review seminar at Queen Mary – proceedings now published

The proceedings from the Modern Law Review seminar on Extraterritorial Immigration Control have now been published as a book titled ‘Extraterritorial Immigration Control – Legal Challenges’.

Published:

The seminar was co-organised by Professor Valsamis Mitsilegas (Professor of European Criminal Law at Queen Mary, University of London) and Dr Bernard Ryan (University of Kent). It took place at the School of Law’s postgraduate law centre at Lincoln's Inn Fields in June 2008.

By bringing together academics, policy makers and members of governmental and non-governmental organisations from around the world, the seminar and the subsequent book constitute the first comprehensive endeavour to address specifically the legal issues that have arisen from the growing practices of extraterritorial immigration control.
