Following the publication of his book, Governing Social Inclusion: Europeanization through Policy Coordination (Oxford UP, 2010), Professor Armstrong will be presenting some of his findings at a conference organised by the Belgian Presidency of the EU on the future of EU social policy coordination.
Professor Armstrong's presentation urges EU policymakers to look to the experiences of the past and of other EU policy domains to construct a new governance architecture that will more effectively support mutual learning to combat poverty and social exclusion in the EU.
