Dr Prakash Shah speaking on 'Transnational Families and British Law: the Role of an Expert Witness' at the Aga Khan University, London, 10 March 2011

Published:

The legal processes relating to immigration control in the British legal system often deal with issues concerning transnational families. Within this context, expert witnesses can play a vital role. Drawing on case studies from personal experience as an expert witness, the lecturer will illustrate the nature of the legal struggle which goes on among the various actors involved in the legal process. This is a free public event. For more information see the Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations website.
