The newly established Queen Mary Legal Theory and Legal History Research Group will host the 2013 UK IVR Conference on the theme: Legal Theory and Legal History: A Neglected Dialogue? Speakers include a mix of leading legal historians and legal theorists. A call for papers has been issued, with one-page abstracts due by 1 October 2012.
The aim of the Queen Mary Legal Theory and Legal History Research Group is to create a robust and supportive research environment in which legal theorists and legal historians can discuss their work and learn from each other. The Group is co-convened by Professor Michael Lobban and Dr Maksymilian Del Mar. Dr Del Mar is also the convenor of the UK IVR.
