Six first year students taking the core Public Law module at Queen Mary, University of London have submitted written memoranda to the Joint Committee on the Draft House of Lords Bill. Their evidence, published on the parliamentary website, looks critically at different aspects of the government’s proposals for House of Lords reform. The submissions followed a lecture by former Queen Mary professor Lord Peston and completion of the first term’s written assignment for the Public Law module.
