Professor Julia Hornle discusses 'Revenge Porn' BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour on Monday 15 July

12 July 2013

BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour is to interview Holly Jacobs (US, Florida) on Monday 15 July. Holly Jacobs believes her ex-boyfriend is responsible for posting naked photos and explicit videos of her online. The show will discuss what can be done against so-called 'revenge porn', which is a new form of domestic/sexual abuse of women (largely) and what can be done about this in the UK.

Julia H├Ârnle, Professor of Internet Law at Queen Mary, will look at the legal considerations which currently involve breach of confidentiality/privacy as a civil action and potentially, harrassment (civil/criminal action). The discussion will last about 6-7 minutes.
