Dr Rafael Leal-Arcas served as an expert on the subject of Measures to Address Climate Change and the Trade System at the World Economic Forum in Geneva on 30 June and 1 July 2014. The Forum discussed the challenges of climate change mitigation from the trade perspective and the increasing importance of the relation between them. Among other topics, the expert group considered the outdated model of the World Trade Organisation in respect to the global debate on climate change.
