Roger Cotterrell, Anniversary Professor of Legal Theory at Queen Mary, spoke at the University of Lund, Sweden on 8 May 2014. He was invited jointly by the Faculty of Law and the Institute of Sociology of Law, based in the Social Science Faculty. The lecture, ‘Law Without a Soul? Legal Instrumentalism and Ultimate Values’, was delivered to a combined audience of academic lawyers and social scientists. Professor Cotterrell also presented a seminar for postgraduate law and sociology students.
