Dr Saskia Hufnagel, Lecturer in Criminal Law at Queen Mary University of London, spoke at the Women in Law Enforcement Conference on 6 October 2015. The conference, the first of its kind to be held in India, attempted to breakdown boarders and unite women law enforcers. In her opening plenary delivering research findings, Dr Hufnagel said "it is not enough to improve the numbers of women in police force, what we need to do is to ensure that women make it to the higher ranks".
