Dr Prakash Shah co-signs petition calling for greater representation of the Arts and Classical Indic Heritage in the National Educational Policy

In a co-signed petition to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr Prakash Shah along with a number of other academics and activists urge for greater representation of the Arts and Classical Indic Heritage in the National Educational Policy (NEP). The petition highlights that a committee to finalise the policy excludes Sanskirt experts, artists, musicians or philosophers.

Dr Prakash Shah is Reader in Culture and Law and Driector of GLOCUL: The Centre for Culture and Law at Queen Mary University of Lodnon (QMUL)
