QLLM338 International and Comparative Law of Unfair Competition (Sem 1)

Module description

The module will allow students to acquire a solid knowledge of the legal theory and practice related to the protection against unfair competition. To achieve this aim the module examines the relevant doctrine comparatively looking at the approaches taken in various jurisdictions such as those of France, Germany, UK, and the US. The module will also examine the international dimension of the repression of unfair competition by reference to the market regulation at EU level and to the major international IP treaties.
