QLLM339 The Law of Registered Trade Marks (Sem 2)

Module description

The module will help the student acquire a solid basis of the law of registered trademarks. To achieve this aim the module adopts a comparative approach examining various registration systems. The focus will be on the national registration systems based on the European Trade Mark Directive, the Community Trade Mark system, and the US system of trade mark registration. International registration systems and filing strategies will be considered as well.
