QLLM369 Financial Distress and Debt Restructuring (sem 2) (Not running 2018-19)

Module description

The module covers the various procedures available in financial distress scenarios aiming at restoring viability and overcoming the excessive burden of debt. The module will address these issues from the perspective of corporations, banks/financial conglomerates and sovereign states, with particular focus on the last two. The module will have a transactional focus with actual case studies and will also analyse general principles of international financing techniques.
