QLLM420 Ethics in International Arbitration (Sem 1)

Module overview

This course explores the professional obligations of primary participants in international arbitration—arbitrators, lawyers, experts, and third-party funders. Many unanswered questions remain about the ethical duties and professional conduct of these participants in arbitral processes. While there are not definitive answers to many of these questions, in this course students will learn about the texts and practical trends that exist to guide their professional conduct and the conduct of other actors in international arbitral proceedings.
