About the LLM Queen Mary Alumni Partial Scholarships (For QM LLB Graduates on or prior to 2011)
The School of Law will be offering two Law Alumni Partial Scholarships to applicants for its taught LLM programme. The scholarships are available to Home/EU applicants for either the full time or part time LLM. If applying on a part time basis, successful candidates will have this award deducted from their first year fee.
The School of Law will be offering two LLM Queen Mary alumni partial scholarships worth up to £1,000 for LLB graduates of Queen Mary, University of London.
These awards are aimed at students who successfully graduate from our LLB programme on or prior to 2011. Alumni Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need. Unlike other School of Law Scholarships, Law Alumni Scholarships are not dependant upon students completing a particular course of study while on the LLM.
Applying for the LLM Queen Mary Alumni Partial Scholarships
Applicants are required to submit the following:
- A completed LLM scholarship application form [PDF 106kb] or [MS Word 1, 505kb] and
- A covering letter (approximately 500 words) explaining why you should be considered, detailing your academic accomplishments and your financial need, should be sent to Penny Stavrinou at p.stavrinou@qmul.ac.uk.

Applicants can complete the scholarship form at the same time as applying for the LLM. However you must have an offer to study on the LLM before we will offer you a scholarship.
The closing date for the receipt of Scholarship applications is Monday 4 April 2011.
