Nelson Akondo joined QMUL in 2017 as a Jean Monnet Research Fellow. He is a member of the Legal Counsel team for the WiseGRID Project, which is a large-scale demonstration of ICT integrated solutions for European smart grids.
Prior to joining QMUL, Nelson worked with ENS Africa (Africa’s largest law firm) as a corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in corporate governance and international mergers and acquisitions.
Nelson has also worked as a research associate for the African Centre for Development Law and Policy (ACDLP), Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and the Leitner Centre for International Law & Justice, Fordham University, New York.
