Margaret Cunningham graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia, with a dual Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) degree. She then worked in a leading commercial law firm in Brisbane, Australia, before being awarded a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust-British Chevening Scholarship to undertake a Master of Laws degree at the University of Cambridge. She has taught EU Law at the University of Nottingham, and is now a Teaching Fellow at Queen Mary. Her teaching interests lie in EU Law, Public Law, Tort Law, and Legal Writing. Her research interests are in EU Law, particularly in EU social exclusion law and policy, and in EU human rights law.
