Takis Tridimas joined the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) in 2004. Formerly referendaire, European Court of Justice. Senior legal adviser to the EU Presidency held by Greece and Chairman of the Committee for the Drafting of the EU Accession Treaty (2003). Takis is also an Advocate, Bar of Athens and Visiting Professor, College of Europe, Brugge.

Takis' research interests lie primarily in European Union Law, including judicial protection, competition law, internal market, external relations, company law, banking and financial services, constitutional law.
