Visiting Lecturer

Ali Yesilirmak holds an LLB from Dokuz Eylül University, an LLM from the University of Texas at Austin and a PhD from Queen Mary, University of London. He is Adjunct Professor, Koç University School of Law (2006-), having previously been Adjunct and Assistant Professor at Yeditepe University School of Law (2005-2006, 2001-2004). He is in practice in Istanbul.

Ali is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2006); member of the Special Committee attached to the Ministry of Justice and entrusted with the drafting a new code of civil procedure (drafting with Prof Dr Hakan Pekcanitez of the Part on Arbitration) and of the Committee entrusted with the drafting of Code on Conciliation in respect of Civil Matters; advising to the Ministry of Justice in assessing the UNCITRAL’s Work on international commercial arbitration.
