M103 LLB (Hons) English and Chinese Law (four years)

Students on the LLB English and Chinese Law programme will study their first two years alongside the other LLB students, after which they will move to Beijing for a year to study Law at the Renmin University of China (RUC) Law School before re-joining Queen Mary for the final year of their degree.

RUC was founded in 1950 and is considered one of China’s leading law schools. It has been ranked number one on three successive occasions in an assessment carried out every four years by the Ministry of Education in China.

At RUC you would be one of 70 exchange students from all over the world, a great opportunity to meet others in the same position as you as well as local Chinese students.

You should apply directly through UCAS onto the LLB M100 programme and you will have the opportunity to apply to this programme during your second year.

The fees for the third year of the programme are significantly lower, with Home/EU students paying 15 per cent of the usual cost and Overseas students responsible for 50 per cent tuition fees.
