The Centre for Commercial Law Studies is pleased to announce a lecture by Selim Kuneralp, Deputy Secretary General of the Energy Charter Secretariat, on the International Energy Charter and its impact on the rules and practices in the global energy sector.

The International Energy Charter is a political declaration mapping out common principles for international cooperation and common areas of cooperation in the field of energy. The text of this new declaration was worked out on the basis of the European Energy Charter of 1991. It is anticipated that the International Energy Charter will be adopted in May 2015.
