The Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute presents a guest lecture by Guido Santi, Legal Affairs Director and Company Secretary of EDF Energy.

Mr Santi will be talking about the "Delivering Large Electricity Infrastructures - Legal Aspects - The Case of Hinkley Point".

Speaker

Guido Santi started his career in Montedison, an Italian multinational conglomerate, after qualifying as a lawyer in Milan.  He has a law degree from the University of Trento and a Master for International Corporate Lawyer from LUISS University, Rome.

During his time with the Montedison Group Guido covered several roles within the Legal Department in Italy and abroad. After Electricité de France's take over of Montedison in 2001, he played a key role in refocusing the company on energy.

Since October 2010 he has been the Legal Affairs Director and Company Secretary of EDF Energy supporting the company in various key matters like the Nuclear New Build Hinkley Point C Project and the implementation of the energy market reforms.
