Research Centres and Institutes

The research focus of the School is on law and its institutions in modern global society. While the Department of Law focuses on the constitutive role of law in creating civil society and public institutions, the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) focuses on its role in constructing global commerce. We use research centres to coordinate activity, foster collaboration and team-working, and develop coherent portfolios of research, from inception to dissemination to new project development.
