Dr Noam Shemtov is commissioned by the WIPO to carry out a study on intellectual property rights in the mobile app industry

Dr Noam Shemtov, Senior Lecturer in Intellectual Property and Technology Law at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), is commissioned by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to carry out a study on the interplay between the mobile application industry and intellectual property rights. Among other things, the study will provide strategic insights and related recommendations on the complex legal IP mapping of the mobile app industry. It is due to be completed within approximately 12 months and be published by WIPO thereafter.
